Metronomen, is like its neighbor's names music-themed but also brings to mind the architectural rhythm provided by its timber modules and characteristic roof-scape. From the solar panels on the roof to the wood in the walls - Metronomen is also a neighborhood that takes its social, economical and ecological responsibility seriously. Its multi-functional entrance balconies provide access to 92 bright and well-planned and affordable apartments, all with their own balcony or patio.
A green and active courtyard environment is framed by facades in wood and warm colors - an architectural way of saying "Welcome to Sandtorp" and a clear adaptation to its surroundings in brick and earthy tones. In one of its corners we find the "Bicycle Pavillion": a wavy wooden canopy with an accesible roof terrace perfect not only for storing bikes but also for hanging out in the sun with your neighbours.
